Havells this season of IPL have chosen to advertise their fans. It's the summers so why not. While Orient is still harping on PSPO with Dhoni power and Usha is trying to be the fan for everyone, Havells have chosen to demonstrate problems and the solution. The situations are - people can be sweating it out without fans - and how they deal with it - and how Havells fans are a solution.
Summers are usually bad in India. It does not matter where in india one is from - the heat does get to us. But we Indians are a very innovative (jugaadu) breed. Making use of resources available comes naturally - irrespective of what it was supposed to be used for.
So we have a teacher using the answer sheets or someone in a dingy office using a newspaper - all in an effort to beat the heat. Havells fan ads take a twist by bringing in people responsible for the items being used as make-shift fans. Their humble request to not abuse their artifacts gets one interested enough to look forward to what follows.
The ad though interesting feels a bit restricted to offices - maybe thats intentional. From a quality of ad production standpoint Havells is way ahead of it's competition.
