Dell might just be getting it right with this new "yours is here" and "choose your own path" campaign. I have seen one "yours is here" hoarding, with the pink color quotient it might attract a lot of female audience. I cannot remember any other pc/laptop maker doing this. Its trendy and breaks the monotony of corporate take-a-look-at-my-specs ads. However "Yours is here" does not beat "The computer is personal again". But in my opinion its close.
The "choose your own path" series also is also hitting the right note with the appropriate use of relevant endorsers. But 'choose your own path" is not appealing. The ad might appeal to small and medium businesses.
To be reassured that someone like me uses the product is definitely good enough to make me consider something else other than what the movie star is telling.
