I was reading through the latest outlook money(31 March 2008) which was filled with ads for various investment opportunities. I am as it is confused when it comes to the various options that are there and this particular one left me confused, amused and scared.

I am confused, what does "To outperform you need Select focus" have to do with the associated image. Who is trying to outperform what here ?

Amused because there is a target and a fruit outside target. So I wonder what its trying to communicate about the product.

Is it trying to say if you lose focus you will lose your head !! Not a nice way to sell no ? Someone taking risk should be made to feel comfortable, right ?

Even then why the target on the head ??. Scary.

The rest of the ad is well laid out and easy to read except for the contact details. I need a magifying glass to get to know the website address. Some other ads in the same magazine had big dedicated blocks for contact details.
