The new small car Micra from Nissan is here in Bangalore and I am surprised to get that info via a small classified in Deccan Herald and Vijaya Karnataka. Both papers have carried the same creative, has anyone seen anything different?
We have been spoilt with large half/full page advertisements and campaigns by car manufacturers so much that this small ad raises eye-brows. Why is Nissan doing this? are they deliberately underplaying the small car? is Nissan even involved in this or is it just the dealer?
The advertisement for the Nissan Micra does not go beyond saying the much awaited car is here and bookings are open - no specs, nothing. Just an invite to come and see the car. Will it work? I'm puzzled. Nissan's interest levels in selling small cars certainly not matching upto other car makers.
