The new saffola ad makes it's point fairly well. With a tinge of humour, the ad sticks to it's proposition of good health through safe oil. The demonstration of the fatigue of the man of the house is nicely done - he doesn't seem lazy; looks genuinely tired - and the frustration of the other family members is also quite real. The 'magarmach ki savaari' touch is very cute.
With increasing number of products pitching themselves as healthier than 'regular' (multigrain aata, fat free oil etc), ads play a critical role in communicating the health message. The fact is that with irregular exercising, and filled-up routines, people do have a problem making their lifestyles healthy. So if a product can help make us healthier - then why not?
I think thi ad does its job well - I would be tempted to switch!
