Kitkat is a popular chocolate from Nestle that has creamy wafer fingers with a chocolate covering on top. Kitkat has always been positioned as a snack to enjoy a break with. "Have a break, have a kitkat" is a popular tagline and something that many use in common talk. I do it too and I cannot remember when the whole thing started.
I saw the new Kitkat ad, the one with the squirrels doing the dance to the "I love you" song from the movie Mr. India, and I liked a few things about it. The animation is very good, the song ofcourse is a sexy one that will not fail to remind everyone who has seen the original song of Sridevi. (Sigh!) What does it do for Kitkat? rather what does it do to me so in turn i do something about kitkat?. What the ad has sucessfully done is bring back the song into my life! Its made me search youtube to find the original :). I still havent found the motivation to go get a Kitkat for myself. But I know the squirrels danced because the guy ate Kitkat.
I wanted to write about this ad for over a week now and I strangely cannot recollect any of the earlier Kitkat advertisements. That may not be a bad thing as long as I continue to intuitvely associate having a break with having a kitkat.

Thank you KitKat
You are very true about the Kitkat ad, the ad has no actual link to the product that is sold, but the point here is that this ad has thought my two year old nephew to dance like the squirrel and believe me this is no easy step.
The ad makes me giggle every time I see this one for two reasons. The squirrels are very funny. My nephew dances even funnier..
Thank You KITKAT....
