Uninor's advertisement now sports a new tagline "Baat mein Dum Hai"; Not sure though on what has caused the change from "ab mera number hai". The new tagline sounds better and seems open-ended for more applications, but as of now I can only say that it should have been put to better use.
The "unlimited Music service" TV advertisement through which I got to know about Uninor's new tagline lacks "Dum". There are a bunch of people at a party and they are trying to get one of their friend to sing a song. Each of them have their own request which creates a comic confusion. All good so far.
However at the endt the poor guy who was willing to sing gives up and runs away!!. Before leaving he gives out Rs 2.50 and asks the bunch to use Uninor's unlimited music service to get as many songs as they want. That is "DUm" ?
Its a good idea, but bad execution. The ad should have had a powerful ending, that resonates "Baat mein dum hai", the guy should have stayed and done something to demonstrate the unlimited music service.
